The colours look wrong
White balance and mixed light
Why it happens
- Indoor lamps are much warmer than daylight, so photos turn orange.
- Mixed light (window plus lamp, or club lighting) confuses auto white balance.
- JPEG files bake in the white balance decision at the moment of shooting.
How to fix it

Set white balance to match the light: Tungsten/Incandescent indoors, Cloudy on grey days.

Shoot RAW — then white balance becomes a simple slider you can fix afterwards.

In mixed light, pick one light source to dominate: close curtains or turn off lamps.

A slightly warm indoor photo usually looks better than a clinically neutral one.
