PhotoStart is a free learning site. You don't need an account, and we don't ask for anything about you.

What we measure

If you accept analytics, we record anonymous usage: which pages are opened, which camera, lens, scenario or effect was chosen, which guides are read, and which equipment links are clicked. A random session identifier is used so a single visit can be counted once.

What we never collect

Names, email addresses, phone numbers, CPR or social security numbers, home addresses, precise location, payment details, passwords or uploaded private files. None of this is ever sent anywhere.

Where the data goes

Anonymous counts are stored in our own database and, when configured, in Google Analytics. Only the site administrator can see them.
