Why these numbers
- ConvertToGrayscale is the switch; contrast and clarity do the rest.
- Strong Blacks give real black instead of grey mush.

- Faces too dark? Raise Shadows; contrast still holds.
- For a softer classic look, drop Clarity to 0.
